Tereza has got a Bachelor’s Degree in Theory of Interactive Media and a Master’s Degree in English Language and Literature. Currently a PhD student of Literatures in English at DEAS, she is researching humour in American paranoid fiction (Vonnegut, Pynchon, Fink & Cranor, etc.). Her scholarly interests also include American folklore and pop culture, urban legends and conspiracy theories, queer culture, and fan culture and fanfiction. In her free time she translates things for money, writes weird poetry, listens to podcasts, and participates in strenuous creative writing challenges. If she’s not at home drinking buckets of tea and coffee, you will find her in cafés furiously typing on her laptop or in the streets of Brno taking pictures of dogs.
