Re:Views Magazine welcomes submissions of articles connected to the Anglophone world in the following fields: Literature, culture, linguistics, translation and English language teaching.

Submissions are limited to students and associates of Masaryk University. The paper should not have been previously published, or be awaiting publication in any other magazine.

The expected length is anything between 1500-2500 words.

The submissions should follow the citation guidelines of the Department of English and American Studies (CMOS for papers on literature and culture, APA for papers on linguistics). For more detail on the citation guidelines, see the department website: https://english.phil.muni.cz/studies/informace-ke-studiu/citation-standards.

The main topic of our next issue is “I am half sick of shadows”, inspired by Tennyson’s poem “The Lady of Shallot”. However, the topic serves more as an inspiration and your article does not have to fit in perfectly.

If you are looking for ideas for article topics, you can check out the articles published in previous issues, or consider submitting a paper originating from one of the courses at the department.

Submissions should be sent as a Word document (.doc or .docx) to re.views.magazine@gmail.com. Each submission must include the author’s full name and the title of the article.
